Deepen and refine skills through an intensive week of on-site activities, lectures, workshops and seminars. This school is part of the MUSE – Motorvehicle University Skills Empowerment project, co-funded by the Region of Emilia-Romagna and FSE+ 2021/2027
Future of Automotive for Intelligent Mobility
The Future of the Automotive for Intelligent Mobility School is a unique opportunity to learn and build professional relationships for young researchers and graduates interested in working in automotive research and development.
It is a further step in the MUNER educational ecosystem, an intensive learning opportunity aimed at exposing young professionals to cutting-edge trends and knowledge pillars that will shape the automotive industry in the medium/long term.
The school aims to further train outstanding technical profiles and connect them with the MUNER partner companies.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with leaders from technical departments and visit several Motor Valley companies, touring the workplaces and learning what technological challenges companies face today and prepare for, as they look to the future.
The information provided on this page is part of the overall MUSE project communication, ensuring compliance with the regional reporting requirements.

MUSE – Motorvehicle University Skills Empowerment is a high-level education initiative co-financed by the Region of Emilia-Romagna through regional funds (L.R. n. 25/2018, Article 2) and FSE+ 2021/2027. The project is designed to enhance the quality, inclusiveness, and international competitiveness of higher education in the Motor Valley, a key hub for leading automotive companies and advanced research institutions. By fostering a close collaboration between top regional universities and industry leaders, MUSE aims to develop advanced technical and digital skills, promote innovative training methodologies, and bridge the gap between academic education and labor market needs. This integrated approach not only strengthens regional excellence and transparency for citizens and stakeholders but also turns funding into tangible opportunities for both people and businesses.

“Vehicles of the future will be very different from those running along our roads today. We are approaching a revolution that will make mobility an issue of flexibility, sustainability and intelligence, while still demanding speed, reduced weight and robustness. Even only keeping the pace with what is being developed in this sector is difficult, as innovation will be born at the boundary between different disciplines that have since now worked in different frameworks and with different tools. But engineers will not only be called to keep the pace. Rather, the companies and the whole society will ask them to contribute with their talent to a change of paradigm unprecedented in the field: new materials, innovative powertrains, novel manufacturing, on-board and connected intelligence, driver assistance, autonomous driving, fleet management, and much more will hit the process of designing, manufacturing and operating vehicles.”
